12 Jan 2009:
I placed my "blue, please" XM-5000li order, a few hours later I got the invoice info, and I quickly paid with PayPal. Yes, I was anxious to get the order processed and paid before my wife changed her mind. She is primarily concerned about my safety and the dangers of driving around humanoids.
Apparently there was no major shipping today due to snow and high winds, but normally it would have had a good chance of being shipped today.

hi all i have a burning question if you lived on top of a hilly area and only used a little power of the vectrix to get to near this hill and then traveled down the hill and used this regen breaking would this corse an over load ? would this course the batteries to over load them selves ? or would the regen breaking not be as affective as batteries pretty full and there would be less resistance in the regen breaking ?

The NW got some huge snow last month. During a mad dash to the video store in I stuck my car on hill due to having to stop at the stop sign . 10 years in Alaska tells me to back it up and park it . I do, and hump it on foot determined to get the choicest vids before the snow storm hits. In the morning I go to check on the car. Totally buried under a good foot of snow 8) . Put a call to my insurance for a tow, due to the high snows
...They Are Not Towing ! At this point i resign to foot and Bionx-Bike power.

A new comment from another disappointed customer of X-treme Scooters in Iowa:

Arrived in torn, water-logged box w/ poor wheel assembly directions and parts missing as well as a tools that didn't fit the parts and a dead battery that weighs 30 lbs. At our cost, we were required to ship the battery back to them before they would give us a new one. "Customer service" was a nightmare. Lies, half-responses, unknowlegeable, dim-witted, rude.....the worst company I've ever had to deal with.
