During a vectrix checking the local dealer noticed that the front wheel of my vectrix had some problems in spinning freely. After a closer look, they found one bearing which had its blue seal broken. After taking the axle out, it was very difficult to spin it with a finger. Maybe some water, rust or dust get across the broken seal and damaged the internal spheres. The bearing was replaced.
Do you know what the part number of the bearing is, would be good to know
I think there has been a few bikes had there front wheel bearings changed, around the 10,000 mile mark, I'm nearly there

I'll ask.
*update:*
already asked, the replacement is a 6202 2RS bearing from "FAG" brand; http://www.fag.com/,
with 25x35x6 seal (reten)
Hi everyone. Have just had the front wheel bearings go on me also (VX-1 07 model)
Have only done about 4000 miles though.
Anyhow, does anyone know where to get replacements as I am having difficulty contacting Vectrix parts / service anywhere.
Thanks.
Q.
Just as well I was collecting this info as, you guessed it, yep the bearings went. Strange noises from the front end in time with wheel rotation.
Thanks for the info and thanks to Steve Scott too, who sent me some info direct
I've fitted the same bearings, 6202 2RS
The seal I've fitted is a 25x35x7 double lip, for a bit of extra potection
Bike is back up and running, range is better but I think that is more to do with the warmer weather than the new bearings
Regards,
Peter
