Wanted: Bearing sizes Vectrix VX-1 gear box

Hello,

I'm looking for the sizes of the needle bearings in the Vectrix VX-1 gear box. My gear box is getting louder and I want to check those bearings.

Since I am riding my Vectrix almost every day, I don't want to open it only for finding out which parts I may have to change.

Re: Wanted: Bearing sizes Vectrix VX-1 gear box

I have bought an entire set of bearings from a local bearing supplier.
I have yet to fit this set yet, however i have replaced bearings before (not the needle roller ones though)

I will dig out the exact details in the next 48hrs

All bearings and seals are available from a good engineering bearing supplier wherever you are

I'll try to find the details when I get a moment.

Cheers
Chris

Re: Wanted: Bearing sizes Vectrix VX-1 gear box

Although these are bearing part numbers and not sizes

Any decent bearing shop would be able to look these up and cross reference with whatever they can get into stock.

I chose to go for japanese bearings rather than chinese in this instance

6915-2RS NACHI DEEP GROOVE BALL BEARING x 1 (Rear of Gearbox)
M82-100-8 OIL SEAL x1 (oil seal)

NU206 NACHI CYLINDRICAL ROLLER BEARING x 1 (support bearing - opposite side to above)
M30-40-7 TC12487 OIL SEAL x1

TA1010Z IKO NEEDLE ROLLER x3 (Planetary needle roller bearings)

I paid in total $220 NZD for these, half of which was the one large bearing.

Hope this helps
