eZee Carro - Electric Trike

Hi All,

My Dad just told me that he's getting the new eZee Carro.
Looks like fun!
I really like the brushed aluminum.

eZee Quando or HCF 707

I finally realize that my brain won’t wrap around all this electrical 2 wheel locomotion stuff and I would be smarter to buy a ready made electric bike or scooter.

What I want is proven reliability, simplicity and craftsmanship; I’m not interested in blazing speed or testing new products.

In particular, I’m looking for honest opinions regarding the eZee Quando folding bike and the HCF 707 scooter. These appeal to me for being small, portable and fun to ride.

Crystalyte Cannon?

Hi folks, this is my first post. I've been lurking around while trying to learn enough to spec out an electric bike for my 18 mile commute.

Anybody use a desulfator to "restore" old SLAs?

I saw this on another board about the Mongoose. Poster said that "desulfinator" restores old SLAs to 80% or original capacity. Said these gadgets were cheap. I PM'd him to ask about where to get one? No response yet. Google gave me a lot of technical stuff that I'm not sure I can use on two 12 volt batts.

Other questions: Can you wait til your SLAs are shot to get these gadgets? Or, do you have to use them continually?

After testig some old fashion Styl Pedelecs, i decide to build my own.
I used an old Mountain bike with full suspension.
21 Gear; to pedal with in the best turning Frequenz; (~60-120T/min)
but only stages 18+ are usfull
I used Dryfit A400 2 x 12V/16Ah C5 Gel Batteries in Series; for good Range and Lifetime.
I used a 26" Hub Wheel in Front.
I got this Wheel for~250€uros via Ebay.
It comes whit legal controller; 250W; Pedal-sensor... Batterie boxes and Charger24V/1,8A
Key-lock; Mountig material. (But exept Batteries)

MB-1-E Part Thirteen: Electric Mountain Bike

The MB-1-E Test Flight.

This morning I made the final connections from the controller to the motor using 6ga welding cable, got the throttle wired up and checked all connections throughout the system. Went over the mechanical one more time and disconnected the charger.

I tried it out while still on the kickstand and everything worked just fine, so I threw a couple of wrenches and my supertool in my pocket and headed down the road.
