Manufactured Motoczysz hype after TT Zero win?

In case you hadn't heard there are a lot of electric motorcycle races going on this summer. One of them, the TT Zero, just ran on Thursday on the Isle of Man. See: Mark Miller of Motoczysz wins 2010 TTZERO, Rob Barber of Agni Motors in 2nd One result of this is a lot of hype attention pointed at Motoczysz making them seem like the Second Coming of Christ or the best thing since sliced bread. e.g.

Car emergency kit for unexpected situations

We rely heavily on cars getting us to work and on longer trips. Unfortunately, cars often will break down. Be prepared by having an emergency kit when that happens.

How do you remove the battery cover. One of the handles has come out, minus the bar or screw holding it there. I've turned the key lock as instructed. but still stuck. Hopefully I don't have to disassemble. Other than that assembly was simple for me and my first test ride was good. No damage during shipping. Took two weeks from Electric Vehicle Mall for delivery via Fed-Ex to my door. All for $1024.95.

Vectrix gauges and lighting flickering up & down

My new Vectrix has an odd thing happening. When I'm driving at night. Well, I can't see the problem in the daylight, but what is happening is all the electronics/dash read-outs, surge up and down every 2 to 3 seconds, going from bright to dim, back and forth. No sounds, no relay clicks, I'm wondering if this is something that I've read that Vectrix had put a saltwater damage control on it to spike and clear the biuld-up on any device points and connections. Could this be it, or do you think it could be trouble.

Battery Comparison

I found this interesting so, if anyone would like to they can either move this posting somewhere else, leave it or remove it.

I found this information in a Toyota magazine.........

Difference between AGM and flooded lead acid batteries:

" AGM batteries feature thin, sponge-like glass mat separators that absorb all liquid electrolytes,

Flooded lead acid batteries feature free liquid electrolyte all around the plates and separators.

EV Journalist spends beautiful holiday weekend holed up reviewing Tesla IPO documents, film at 11

(May 31, Mountain View, CA) - EV Journalist David Herron was found this Memorial Day weekend staring his computer and mumbling about how big Tesla Motors might become if their deals with Toyota and Daimler pan out. Or maybe the deals could go awry and Tesla would die. To David this seemed like a big story, one which needs to be told, despite the cost involved in missing the beautiful weather outside.

Vectrix external battery pack

I am new to the grid and have been following everyone on all of the vectrix blah blah. I just got my "NEW" 2008, and found that driving this to work, I'm short by "THAT MUCH!"(maxwell smart). What I came up with, is I added a nice hitch design to the back and under the tail for pulling a tiny trailer battery power-pak. WOW! IT'S COOL! I noticed that everywhere, everyone talks about the weight, why not pull it, it's the same as a second rider. So what I need from you all is some help in where to tap/in-line splice, a connection for this prototype trailer pwrpak.
