Considering the twelve PR problems of EV's (according to EVCAST)

Last Christmas, the hijinks meisters at the EVCAST released a song detailing the 12 PR problems they see about EV's. With the exciting news this year about electric vehicles of all stripes, it's worth nitpick about and reflect on the issues they listed. (FWIW the song is funny - so take this nitpicking and enjoy it anyway)

INVALID: http://greenscooters.net Scooter Scammer, Mark Swaiin Grisham or Portland, OREGON BEWARE GREEN SCOOTERS, LLC

NOTE: It's been learned that the following information is no longer true. That is, greenscooter.net is now owned by different people. This thread has been locked from receiving more comments. -- David Herron

Mark Swaiin, Last known address is a big scammer of Green Scooters.
These are actually not bad looking electric scooters along the
lines of XB700LI and I don't know where you can find a real dealer
manufactures rep or what-have-you, only can warn you from actual
first-hand experience to avoid this guy like the swine flu.

SOOOO LONGGGG!-FARE-WELL MY FRIENDS!

I must say "FARE-WELL" my friends. I just lost my job TODAY! So....I will be posting my V up for sale ASAP! I'll place it on EBAY for now I guess. It has 800 miles, an all weather cover, and a buddy "Love Handle" belt(very cool-look it up), for the extra rider. SHEESH! I haven't even got it dirty to wash it, it's so new! My tummy is turning just typing this! My Vectrix lives in Omaha, Nebraska,...if anyone cares.BUT HEY! It has been a great website to chat with fellow "FlyingV"s. Shall I post A few photos of my sad wake? Will someone feel badly of me posting photos of the passing?

LEDs on THR 65 throttle

I have a SPD 2404 24VDC controller and a THR 65 throttle, The 65 throttle has LEDs for "Power, Full, and Low" but the 2404 controller's three lead connector doesn't accommodate the LEDs. Is it possible to enable the LEDs by running a wire from the positive charge plug of the 2404 to the 65's spare connection? If not, any ideas for making the LEDs indicate the battery life? Thanks.

Got the answer from doggies. Ran the spare (yellow) wire to the plus terminal (after the key power switch) and the LEDs work.

Some electric "bicycles" make you scratch your head and say "that's a motorcycle"

I recently had the privilege to test and review a pair of bicycles including one that just makes me question "what's an electric bicycle." See - Head-head the A2B Metro and EMS Elite bicycles

charging draw, electrical draw during the charge, how many A/Hs used in a 2 hour charge of electricity

When I plug in to charge, how much power does it use to run the charger for 2 hours. When I go to a store and they ask what kind of draw are they donating, and I visit/shop for 1-1/2 to 2 hours, how many A/Hs of power do I use.
