Re: Diagnosing and fixing the IGBTs
I am the only one Vectrix owner in New Caledonia. My 2007 VX1 have done 18 000 km with the origine batteries. As many owner I had the fuse problem and set a 100 amps marine breaker directly under the seat. 1 year ago I had the yellow wrench lighting up and I made the mistake to disassembly the encoder. Then I tried to reset (contact on while right brake at full throttle- then trying the best postion of the disk). The bike was not running fine but I still drive it up to one month ago. one connector of the 3 motor phases burn up on the controler board.
I urgently need advices and at least a new or used controler board. I think the origin of the problem can be the software who alowed the bike to be too powerfull an the upgraded one is better. My Email is sergebessault [at] hotmail.com
Thank for your help. Best regards.
