Vectrix error codes, yellow wrench warnings

Hello all.
Feel free to add codes you've experienced, plus implications & solutions. I'll try and collate as many of them as I can from the site as I browse.
It would be useful to know what software version was being run, & how old your Vectrix is.
Right: Let's get the ball rolling...

no ts: Implications unknown as yet. Bike runs ok (only just got it though). Second hand 08 Vectrix, latest software (2010)

CAPcur: One of the fuses that feeds the big bus caps of the MC is blown. Most likely cause is a breakdown of one of the caps which caused too much AC current to flow in and out of the cap. Ridable, but more burden on the other 3 caps. Fixed by changing either the fuse and cap or complete MC (from X Vectrix).

CANBUS: CANBUS disappears in aprox. 30 seconds, yellow wrench after aprox. 1 minute. Chip sync problem- some chips get out of sync for a short while but then auto reset: Harmless (X Vectrix).

Encdr-Error: Dirty/contaminated encoder (Rear wheel rotation sensor). Fixed by cleaning housing & replacing gasket (mikemitbike).

BUsVLT (Battery under safe Voltage)
CAPhOT = Capacitors hot
Bathot = Battery hot (Mik)

no TS: No temperature sensors. Charger not receiving the PGN (CANbus data) from temperature sensors on battery pack. (X Vectrix)

uP RSt = microprocessor reset. It is a normal random error. Nothing to worry about.

I've got a 2012 Vectrix VX-2 with less than 1000 miles on it.
After recent recharge the speedometer and energy gauge stopped working and instead only displays "Error System 01".
My dealer in Oakland, CA says he's heard of this before and sent me a partial quote from earlier e-mail from Vectrix before they closed their doors in most recent bankruptcy.
I quote: "An Error System 1 message has to do with the firmware coding in the speedometers, it does pop up sometimes and can be “stopped” temporarily with a specific combination with the throttle lever- I will send this to you shortly, but if this does persist, or pops up more often, you will need a replacement speedometer."
Does anyone know the exact procedure to reset or reboot the firmware ?

thanks in advance for any clues

Did you have any luck?
My 2012 turns on and auto shuts off. Controller LED blinks 6 times repeatedly.

Here is a link to my Dropbox with a zx2 manual. Let me know if you need anything else

Except if this happens and after a reboot you just drive off your motor controller is no longer operative so you may see an overheat error. Just turn the key off for 10 seconds and the fan will work again, thanks anti scab for that info
